Family Concert: The Viva Opera Ensemble

John BischoffClaire Kelm The Viva Opera Ensemble presents a program of love, comedy, romance, betrayal, murder & fun for the whole family! Come share in Romeo & Juliette’s secret wedding, the hilarious effects of The Elixir of Love, Madame Butterfly’s sweet welcome home for her American husband, a nasty plot to thwart Juno’s rival Semele, Carmen’s passionate ending and Violetta’s fabulous champagne reception from La Traviata. Presented by soprano Claire Kelm, alto Katherine McKee, tenor Colby Roberts, bass John Bischoff, & pianist Ernest Knell.

FLC Choir: Heaven's Gates

The First Lutheran Choir, directed by Katherine McKee, finishes the season with music of celestial beauty, featuring Fauré’s Requiem accompanied by organ and chamber orchestra. Also on the program will be the Puccini Requiem(for choir, viola and keyboard), Shaker Songs arranged by Kevin Siegfried, and Spirituals arranged by William Dawson, Carl Diton, Hall Johnson, and Alice Parker.
