Ladies Night Out
"Ladies Night Out is a multigenerational group of women who meet at local restaurants to talk about life and faith--giving sustenance to body, mind & soul. Come share a meal with us!" That pretty much says it all. We are, indeed, a group of women who meet at local restaurants to talk about life and faith. We look forward to our monthly meetings and the opportunity to relax, laugh and catch up with our sisters. This past year we have been happy to welcome our new Pastor into our fold! And we added a bit of fundraising to our agenda by hosting the annual "Domingo Gordo" talent show and dinner in February, where we raised over $500 to help our Sister Parish build a security wall. We realized toward the end of the year that we needed to work a little harder on the "multigenerational" part of our identity so we made a concerted effort to reach out more to the senior ladies of FLC. Despite some concerns that LNO was for the "young gals" several women agreed to join us in May. We hope that they - and others - will continue to come in the future. We would be happy to try to arrange rides for those wishing to join us who would prefer not to drive. So, if you haven't done so before or haven't done so in a while - come share a meal with us!
